Write to us on WhatsApp with your dates and how many of you are travelling. We reply with what runs those days, the price and the pickup point, and only then is anything confirmed. There is no form to fill in and no card to enter.

No. Nothing is charged on this site. The price is agreed with you in writing first, and we tell you then how the payment works for your booking.

On most excursions children pay half. The exact figure and the age range are written on each excursion page, next to the adult price.

The prices shown are the current per-person rates for the standard version of each excursion. What can change it is the group size, a hotel outside the usual pickup area or a variant of the tour — so the figure we send you on WhatsApp is the one that counts.

Yes. Tell us where you are staying when you write and we confirm the pickup point and the time for that excursion. Pickups cover Las Terrenas, El Portillo, Playa Bonita, Cosón and Samaná city.

A day or two is usually enough. The exceptions are the excursions that only run on fixed days — Safari Playa Rincón and the Samaná city tour — and the whale season, when the boats fill up. For those, write as soon as you have your dates.

Samaná El Catey (AZS) is the closest, about 40 minutes away. Santo Domingo (SDQ) and Punta Cana (PUJ) have far more international flights, and we cover both — the difference in the flight price is often bigger than the difference in the transfer. A private transfer from AZS to Las Terrenas is US$80 one way and US$160 return. That is the price of the whole vehicle for one to six passengers, not per person. A shared shuttle on the same route starts at US$15 per person.

A private transfer from SDQ to Las Terrenas is US$160 one way and US$320 return for one to six passengers. The drive is roughly two and a half hours on the Samaná motorway. A shared shuttle starts at US$30 per person with six travelling.

Send us the flight number when you book and we follow it. The driver waits for the flight you are actually on, and the delay is not charged as waiting time.

Yes. The vehicle is yours — no stops to collect other passengers — and the price is for the whole vehicle. Shared shuttles are available on three routes and are priced per person, with a minimum number of travellers.

The humpback whale season in Samaná Bay runs from 15 January to 25 March. Outside those dates the boats do not go out — the season is set and enforced each year by the Dominican Ministry of Environment.
