Same idea as the buggy, different machine and a longer reach. The quads take you further inland, across rivers and up into the hills behind Las Terrenas, and then down to the coast.
You stop at a Dominican house on the way to see how people here actually live, taste the fruit in season and look at the coffee and cocoa growing in the yard.
The beach at the end is your choice: Playa Rincón, three kilometres of white sand with the Caño Frío river running into the sea, or Playa Morón, a small deserted beach in the Limón area. Either way you finish with a swim.
